Sarasota is becoming an increasingly popular location with people moving to Florida, so to help make that crucial decision about where to buy, we’ve are going to be writing an ongoing blog series about the best places to live in the Sarasota area. We’re starting with the Siesta Key neighborhood of Sarasota Beach.
Location! Location! Location! Sarasota Beach is an established neighborhood, right in the heart of things, which is why we think it’s one of the best place to live in Siesta Key. Sarasota Beach homes are located on and around the distinctive, heart shaped Palm Island, in the central part of Siesta Key. It was one of the first areas developed in the 50’s and 60’s and as a result the homes here are situated on lots that are generally bigger than in other parts of the Key. The area is basically all single-family residences and you’ll find a mix of older and newer homes. This neighborhood is only a quick drive to Downtown Sarasota or a lovely short walk to U.S.A.’s number one beach; Siesta!
Sarasota Beach Homes Are Just A Quick Walk To So Much…
In addition, the neighborhood is in close proximity to the Siesta Key Village which has over 100 business, including gift shops, beach gear, clothing stores, jewelry stores, restaurants, entertainment bars, massage therapy, bike & scooter rentals, watersport paddle board rentals and more! Great ways to enjoy the sunshine, but lots of sunshine also means lots of heat! Fortunately, the Siesta Key Village offers a number of fun places to refresh yourself. If we had to nominate one of the best places to cool down, it has to be local favorite: Sunni Bunni. It’s unique because all the ingredients used are organic, authentically healthy and incredibly delicious!
Stop In To Sunni Bunni For A Quick Snack
Sunni Bunni sells live, non-fat frozen yogurts and organic fruit smoothies. These healthy smoothies will keep you going for the day so you can stay outside and enjoy the perks of summer in Florida as long as you can! What we like about them is that the yogurts are seasonal flavors and are never freeze-dried or from a powdered mix. The yogurts are specially made with the idea in mind to keep you refreshed, healthy and highly energized throughout your day. Once you have chosen your favorite flavor, there is a wonderful display of toppings to choose from including an assortment of fresh fruit, granola, nuts and more!

It’s a waterfront property, right on Siesta Key’s Grand Canal (MLS A3993648). Another eye-catching property currently on the Sarasota Beach real estate market is a mid-century modern gem located on Calle de Peru (MLS A3998759).
