The other day I was reading a post in BuzzFeed where Sarasota was named #1 in the “10 Places In the U.S. You’ll Want to Visit Right Now.” They mentioned the diverse art scene and wide range of activities; and we beat out popular hot spots, such as San Diego, West Palm Beach, Austin, Anchorage and Martha’s Vineyard, to name just a few.
For me, this was a no brainer – I love the weather, the beaches are gorgeous, and I can do outdoor activities everyday. Here is a photo recently posted to Facebook – it was taken on an evening kayak on the East Bayou. How many people can do this where they live!
